As the sessions are intended to be informal and tailored to each client, it will not always be possible to cover a particular subject in the same way as it would be covered in a classroom. I will always strive to cover as much of a particular subject as possible, but I do not work to a strict plan or agenda. Therefore, some omissions will be inevitable. If time permits, these omissions may be covered at the end of the period of training. I will correct any errors which are brought to my attention and I will waive the cost of any session which does not fully meet the Client’s needs or expectations. Computer Equipment
I will bring my own computer for the use of the Client, if they do not have a suitable one installed at home. If my computer is being used for a session please note the following:
My computer is battery powered, so connection to a mains electricity supply should not be necessary. However, if there is an unpredicted shortage of battery power, it may be necessary to briefly connect it to a mains supply. If so, then a small reduction in the fee for that session will be made.
Accreditation
I am not a formally qualified tutor. My training is informal and is derived from over 20 years' experience of working with computers for engineering, planning, administration and general purposes. I have also worked extensively with clients at public libraries. I can provide proof of my CRB check, references and Public Liability Insurance on request.
